HOW DID THE LOCKDOWNS AFFECT YOU?
Couldn’t visit elderly parents, isolation
Abused by people because I wouldn’t wear a mask, and kicked out of premises
Friends didn’t want to see me as I wasn’t vaccinated
Lost of my job of 30 years during my 30 year anniversary week
Strained relationships with family, friends and work colleagues who didn’t believe me
Unemployed for a year and had to use most of my savings before gaining benefits which was demoralising at 64-65yo
Physically – sleeplessness and hair loss through stress and worry
Worry and fear my baby granddaughter wouldn’t be born alive, or could have something wrong with her since her mother got the jab during pregnancy
My vaccinated daughter breaking my heart when she told me I wasn’t to be anywhere near my newly born granddaughter until I was vaccinated (she later changed her mind so long as I isolated myself from others) Our relationship is still strained to this very day.
