My 12month contract was terminated early due to not being vaccinated. Newmont Gold placed a mandate on all persons on site must be vaccinated, the NT Government put a directive in place to penalise the unvaccinated with $5000 fine. My co tract was cut short resulting in a lose of $217,461. The project I was working on had a duration of 4-5 years. Total lose of potenial income equaled $1051924. I had to sell our home & move to an area we could afford to buy a house, which has seperated us from our family.
