HOW DID THE LOCKDOWNS AFFECT YOU?
husband and I lost our jobs and financial loss

Loss of business – my husband was unable to continue working as a chiropractor (25 year career). He handed in his license. He was targeted with a complaint made to APRHA. He has been out of work since Oct 17 2021. During lock downs we were unable to work and had no income for many weeks. Even though as a chiropractor at the beginning he was allowed to still practice he lost 2/3 of his clients as they were locked down or too afraid to come to the practice. Losses were 2,000 – 3,000 a week. When my Spinal Flow healing clinic was closed down I was losing approx $700 a week.
Loss of employment – my husband lost his contract with his employers because he would not take the vaccine and they would not help him to make any changes to the practice to navigate the requirements for unvaccinated health workers – which included discrimination by age, medical status and race. His contract was for 2 years at $200,000+ a year. He is unable to gain future employment as a Chiropractor not able to start his own practice ever again. So losing about that much per year for the rest of his working life approx $2,000,000.
Loss of health – I have suffered with depression, anxiety and heavy levels of stress since the lockdowns. We almost were not able to have our wedding. We had to elope so that family were not locked down in another state or worse in a detention centre or prevented from coming to the wedding after paying money for flights and accomodation. As it was we had to stand a ridiculous distance from the 2 guests and the celebrant at an outdoor wedding. My husband had a mental breakdown which is documented by a doctor and psychologist. The doctor refused to sign off on his disability insurance claim for an inability to work. She said it was because losing his job was linked to was refusing the vaccine – she didn’t want to get questioned/attacked by authorities herself. Normally that claim would have been endorsed without question. payment would have been $700 a week for 6 months.
Loss of freedom – we were unable to visit cafes, dine out and at one point were not permitted to enter the city even in a car. We were unable to visit family in other states without extreme stress or risk. My son was flying back from Brisbane when they called a retroactive lock down in Brisbane mid air. I was beside myself with panic that they would take him from the plane to the detention centre. Luckily he only had gold coast written on his entry card, I was able to take him home. But he never visited his father again during the pandemic. It was too dangerous for his mental health and I would have to enter detention with him and not be able to work for weeks.
We were taking part in a rally one day when they had called a lockdown over 1 supposed case of covid in the city which magically appeared. This was a set up and the police had planned to attack us as we marched with the premeditated goal of arresting a prominent Indigenous family (Dave Cole) in the freedom movement. The police had called in the predator ‘cops’ to co-ordinate this operation. One in particular was photographed with their predator and knights templar badges on their ‘police’ uniform. We were marching into the city as the police had set up a road blockade to the city… you were only allowed to continue if you were vaccinated. The police then peppered sprayed elderly women, a man in a wheel chair and young adults, threw them to the ground and beat them. We were peacefully marching on the sidewalk protesting the lockdowns as we had done every saturday for the past few months. It was the most horrific act of violence I have ever witnessed. It was terrifying. Luckily my husband and I were able to avoid being in the middle of the violence but we were still choking on the tear gas and had to helplessly watch as our dear friends were beaten. The police then tried to say that a man threw chemical water at them causing burns to the their arms… it was their own capsicum spray that they went crazy with that burnt them. Those charges were dropped but they played that card for months (sending the water bottle away for testing at a special lab – such a lie) Meanwhile the elderly women and men were sprayed point blank in their eyes with the stuff. I remember helping an older man who was in so much pain from it that he seemed like he was about to have a heart attack. My husband gave his shirt to one of the indigenous elder women to wear as hers was burning her skin.
False Fines – we were then fined $5000 each for allegedly not wearing a mask, not standing 1.5 metres apart and not being vaccinated outside of our 15km zone.
We are currently fighting this in court. But stand to lose $10,000 as a family. And the distress and emotional pain this has caused us is very large indeed. We have no job and no money because of their mandates and now they want to fine us on top of that for daring to protest and say that it is wrong. There was no emergency on that day. There was supposedly 1 case that flew into the state. tested positive with their fake test and voila lockdown in time to catch the indigenous family who just happened to be all attending the rally that weekend. (they didn’t usually do that – not all of them – and an activist from brisbane was with them too)
The police even turned up at our doorstep 12 midnight to question my husband – it was an intimidation tactic the night before the next rally (without the lockdown this time)
Relocation Costs – my husband and I then decided that we had to leave the territory as the official government website was saying that once a certain level of vaccination had been achieve that they were going to be locking the borders to the unvaccinated. Only the vaccinated would be allowed to travel interstate. We were in darwin and our family are in QLD. So we had to incur losses with moving costs $8,000, car transport $2,000 as we couldn’t drive out due to locked down areas or hot spots making it impossible for us to cross the border, break lease disputes and costs over $1,000 and incalculable trauma arguing with real estate agent, $500 in flights.
We had to go live in a tent in 40 degree heat on a friends farm. We had nowhere else to go and no job to be able to get a rental home. We were essentially homeless for 4 months.
Since then we have not been able to work in our usual professions (as hands on healers) and attempts to change to working online and starting a new online teaching business have been unsuccessful. My husband also lost out on another job because of the aprha. He refused to re-register and the employer decided to not hire him, even though they had indicated before we got to this new location that that wouldn’t be a problem.
