Changed my whole life

Loss of employment and therefore changes to standard of living, unable to visit my mother in RACF care for lengthy periods of time- unable to ascertain therefore that she was receiving adequate care; unable to go to church due to lockdowns, loss of social interactions (family and friends) loss of freedom- unable to socialise or visit shops or cafes or other entertainment venues, marginalised from society for my decision to maintain bodily autonomy.
All of the above impacted the mental and emotional wellbeing of myself and my immediate family members.

My mother died in RACF mid 2022 and whilst I was able to be with her due to end of life provisions at that time, there had been lengthy periods of time where there was no contact with her at all due to vaccine mandates, her physical immobility and dementia (making it impossible to even talk on the phone).
