On 21st August 2021, I was arrested by NSW Police and detained for 6 hours against my will because I was out of a 5 k radius of my home and I refused to wear a facemask on public transport. One year later I defended the charges myself and they were dropped by the magistrate. The Police Officer that arrested me said “Tony you are the easiest arrest I have done in 20 years of policing”.
On 18th December 2021 I was stood down without pay from a 35 year unblemished career as a firefighter because I refused to divulge my vaccination status to Fire Rescue NSW. I am currently under investigation by FRNSW for disobeying a lawful and reasonable order. I was punished by being stood down without pay 14 months before the investigation even started. I am still stood down and not allowed to enter my workplace to clear out my locker.
