I was terminated from my nursing position I had held for twenty years. This termination came via a phone call then an e-mail. To this time no one from my former employment has ever contacted me regarding anything. My welfare has certainly not been important to them. Most of my former work colleagues shun me as if I did something wrong. Of those that have communicated with me they ask how my retirement is going and are unbelieving when I tell them I was terminated for my stance against the mandates, and that I never resigned or retired.
